I’m so glad you’ve found me! I specialize in newborn and baby photography but also focus on maternity and family photography. My photography studio is located in Minneapolis. Take a peak at my portfolio, scroll through my blog to view some photos from recent sessions. I want to capture your family’s most important milestones… pregnancy, births, first-steps and beyond.
I’m a photographer, wife and mommy ( see my crazy family below). Photography has been a hobby since my first photography class in my freshman year of high school. I had a bit of an “ah-ha” moment just before my daughter’s first birthday and realized my hobby was something I was quite good at, and a means to own my own business. An aspiration I’ve had for years. Not long after I formally started my business, over 4 years ago now! I immediately new I wanted to specialize in newborn photography. Newborns are my passion. Close runner-ups would be 4-8 month old baby milestone sessions and maternity sessions. Babies at that age are almost always super friendly and smiley. Whether pushing themselves off the ground or sitting up on their own, these sessions are super fun! Maternity sessions bring out the artist in me. I love playing with light and finding new beautiful ways to capture that pregnancy glow.
A few random things about me: I love having fresh flowers around the house. The idea for my daughter’s name comes from my favorite designer, BCBG. I am seriously indecisive, especially when it comes to what I want to eat. I’m a little quirky and have been known to do happy dances at photo shoots when I get “the shot”. Speaking of shoots, ok this is embarrassing, but I have the habit of over-using the word “perfect” white shooting. You’ll mostly hear me say it during maternity and family sessions when I’m coaching clients. I’m sure it’s super annoying and if you’ve experienced this during your session, I’m so sorry. Most importantly, while I may be indecisive, there is no question about what my absolute favorite thing is… DONUTS. Mmmmmm. Yo Yo in Minnetonka is my favorite. Hans Bakery in Anoka is a close second with their huge raised donut. No really, it’s probably the size of my face. Not that my face is huge. Ugh. Ok that’s enough, I think you get it.
If you’re interested in scheduling a session or have any questions I’d love to hear from you! Don’t wait until later, I book up weeks in advance most months and you may forget! You can use the Contact form above or email me, email@example.com.
